I have one of these and love it. It can be used to dry a roll not in use, or as a direct feed to your printer, I modified mine and added a compression fitting and bowden tube to guide the filament to the machine, A really great item to have!

They can be a bit tricky to set up, but it runs my Ender 5 Plus now, and does well. it has a lot of great features, can control 4 printers at once, has cloud printing built in, a web interface you can use from a smart device (on your local network) and input shaping. it can really get the most out of a creality based printer. I think there are ways to use it with other brands, but I cant say for sure so do your research for non creality machines.
